Easter Sunrise Service 2016
The Chinese Community Church of South Bay, located in the Torrance area of Los Angeles County, will be hosting a special Easter Celebration Program this year from March 20, 2016 to March 27, 2016.
The Easter Celebration program commences with a Palm Sunday Worship Service on March 20. There will be a Maundy Thursday Holy Communion Joint Service conducted in both English and Chinese at 7:30 pm on March 24, in remembrance of the Last Supper that Jesus Christ celebrated with His disciples. Good Friday Joint Service will be held at 7:30 pm on March 25, in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. A special Children Program will be provided at 7:30 pm on the same day for children from Pre-K to 5th grade. On Easter Sunday March 27, the program will begin with an Easter Sunrise Service at 7 am to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Easter Sunday Program will continue with breakfast at 8 am, a special Children Program at 9 am and Easter Sunday Joint Service at 9:45 am. Baptism will be held during the Sunday Service on March 27.
